SAN ANTONIO, Texas (March 1, 2010) – HEI announced today that Alamo Solutions Resource (ASR) is merging operations with HEI effective immediately. ASR brings a capable team with demonstrated expertise supporting a variety of customers in diverse industries such as Non-Profit Arts, Professional Services and Manufacturing.

ASR President, and incoming HEI Director of Application & Systems Development said “I am excited about this next step in our journey, as our experience in working closely with HEI for the past year has been nothing but exceptional. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (February 26, 2010) – HEI announced today the immediate availability of two new desktop products focused on the needs of small and mid-sized businesses, education, and larger enterprises with remote office requirements.

By leveraging the latest processors from Intel, the new Optimized Desktop Platform provide an enterprise class platform that can handle the workloads of today and expand to meet the needs of growing businesses. Further, the latest generation of Intel’s Core CPU’s with vPro and Active Management 6.0 technology provides a secure infrastructure for unparalleled remote support and maintenance of both the OS and hardware platform.

“If a customer is looking for the absolute cheapest up-front cost for system hardware, there are likely cheaper places to shop. However, that customer may not get the best value, and will very likely need to completely replace that hardware within three years, and will not see many of the latest operational benefits and cost reducing technologies that our systems offer,” said Matthew Beebe, General Manager. “However, if a customer is looking for performance, security, expandability, and manageability, our systems offer the same or better capabilities as the systems the Tier 1 vendors are providing at a 30-50% lower price point,” emphasized Beebe.
